Things to know before you go
Please bring a primary and secondary form of ID
All documents must be original (we cannot accept copies or screenshots) and valid (not expired)
We recommend you have a U.S. address (be sure to include your apartment or dorm number) and a valid phone number
before opening an account
For U.S. Citizens, the following are acceptable forms of identication:

Secondary ID
Attention students: Before visiting a Chase branch to open your account, please bring a primary and secondary form of ID, and
proof of student status. Your secondary ID can also serve as your proof of student status (student ID w/ photo). DS-2019 and I20
are examples of commonly used IDs for international students. We also recommend you have a full U.S. address (including your
apartment or dorm number) and a valid U.S. phone number.
