JSSC Panchayat Secretary Syllabus 2020
The JSSC Panchayat Secretary Exam takes place in three phases, Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and
a Skill Test for which the syllabus has been given below:
1. The preliminary exam: It consists of 120 questions that account for 360 marks. The ques-
tions will focus on General studies, Knowledge of Jharkhand State, General Mathematics, Gen-
eral Intelligence, and Computer Awareness.
2. The Mains exam: It consists of three papers of Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. Paper 1 is a
qualifying exam where the candidate has to score a minimum of 30% marks.
• Paper 1 Consists of questions of Hindi and General English.
• Paper 2 consists of local languages.
• Paper 3 consists of General study, General knowledge for Jharkhand State, and Com-
puter awareness.
3. Computer Proficiency Test: The candidates will have to prepare for the following syllabus:

• E-mail.

Computer Proficiency Test
The candidates will be tested for their MS-word, MS-office, MS-PowerPoint, and Email receiving and
sending skills. In addition, candidates will be asked to type a paragraph on MS-Word, How to prepare
a MS-PowerPoint presentation and formulas of MS-Excel (like addition, Subtraction, multiplication,
average, etc.) Candidates will have to send their answers from their registered email to the email that
is mentioned in the question paper. To qualify the test, one requires at least 40 marks.
