D
etails and Goals of the
Hillsborough Climate Challenge
The Purpose: A monthlong schedule, March 29 April 22, of mini events that
offer practical solutions and information for climate action. These activities will
raise awareness of the Town of Hillsborough’s resolution to support a goal of
100% clean energy by 2050 and foster a resilient and sustainable community.
The Challenge: Attend as many events as possible and learn how to
incorporate Earth-friendly products and actions in your everyday life. The
challenge is to make ‘Every Day Earth Day.Many of the events are designated
with (S) and this indicates that your passport will be stamped at these activities.
At the final Climate Challenge Celebration event at Blackwood Farm Pavilion, the
10 participants with the most stamps will select an Earth-friendly prize.
The Pledge: At the final Climate Challenge Celebration on April 21, please fill
out a pledge card stating the three climate-saving changes you are pledging to
make.
